Friday night racing has been setting record car counts at Sycamore Speedway. Every week the classes are growing and becoming more competitive and there are new drivers every week. These guys and gals of racing enter the race track and are ready to race as if this is the last time they will hit the track.
Saturday night racing has not fallen short on the excitement factor either. The emerging Pure Stock Class has been growing weekly as well. The skills of these drivers are becoming better every week and you will see more door to door racing than ever before.
This coming Saturday, June 13, 2015, marks a special race for Sycamore Speedway. A race that was created in honor of the 2 founders of Sycamore Speedway, creating the Joe & Nick Memorial. This year the race will be 52 laps for the Super Late Model Division. The number of laps represents the years the speedway has been open as a stock car racetrack. They also welcome the Late Models, Pure Stocks, Modified Compacts and the 4 Bar Super Late Models. Pit Gates open at 4pm. General Admission Gate opens at 6pm. Time Trials are at 6:30 pm and Racing at 7:30 pm. Don’t forget Spectator, Powder Puff, Compact & Socker Stocker racing every Friday night along with a Figure 8 and Demolition Derby. On Friday, June 12, 2015, gates open at 6 pm, Time Trials at 7:15 pm and Racing at 8pm. General Admission for both of these events is $12 for Adults, $5 for Children aged 5-11, and FREE for Children under the age of 5.
