Come to see the classic “It’s A Wonderful Life” movie this Sunday, December 10th at 2:00 PM at the Egyptian Theatre in DeKalb. Released in 1946, the film stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a man who has given up his dreams in order to help others, and whose imminent suicide on Christmas Eve brings about the intervention of his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody (Henry Travers). Clarence shows George all the lives he has touched and how different life in his community would be had he never been born.
The movie is sponsored by Thrivent Financial. Tickets are $8 each, $6 for seniors and students. The Egyptian Theatre is located at 135 N. 2nd St. in downtown DeKalb. Plan to visit one of the downtown restaurants like Tapa La Luna while you’re there and make a day of it!
