Hope Haven of DeKalb County recently acknowledged, on their Facebook page, the ongoing impact of Rob Deshazer’s generous spirit. Deshazer, Co-Owner of Tapa La Luna restaurant in DeKalb, passed away suddenly in October of 2018.
“Now that we have experienced another full and blessed holiday season, we’d like to take a quieter moment to acknowledge Tiffany, the wife of Rob Deshazer, and his Tapa La Luna family.
“Only one month after Rob passed away, his family and friends carried out his last planned fundraiser, “Give the Shirt Off Your Back” for Hope Haven. Truck loads of clothes were donated from all the people who loved Rob. It was obvious, he was well loved.
“At Christmas, Rob’s tradition of collecting presents for homeless children was also kept alive. We were honored to receive the abundance of gifts from his wife, Tiffany.
“Thank you Tiffany, Tapa La Luna, and all of Rob’s friends and family for continuing his acts of kindness and the compassion he had for others. It’s a beautiful legacy, for a wonderful man.”
