Take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle and go watch a movie at a theater this weekend. See the movie, The Polar Express this Friday, December 19th, 2014 at 6:30pm at the Egyptian Theater, 135 N. 2nd Street in downtown DeKalb. The movie is sponsored by Thrivent Financial. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors/students/kids.
Saturday through Tuesday, December 20-23rd, at 10:00am each day, see The Grinch Who Stole Christmas free at the Sycamore State Street Theatre, 420 W. State St.. Theatre owners offer free movies each Christmas season and just ask that folks bring in a toy for Toys for Tots.
