Downtown DeKalb Spooktacular goes on in downtown DeKalb this Saturday October 27th from 1pm – 3pm. Kids won’t get spooked at this spooktacular event. Get the kids in their Halloween costumes and trick or treat at over 40 downtown businesses! Candy and activities are provided for this annual event. Amenti Haunted House at the Egyptian Theatre will be open for a “Bite sized” lights on, scare free, kid friendly preview.
Genoa Park District is having a Halloween Party this Saturday, from 2-4pm at Kiernan Park. Enjoy this family event featuring games, rides, food and much more. A costume contest will be held and awards will be given. Age groups for contest are:under 24 months, ages 2-4, ages 5 -7, ages 8-10 and age 11 and up. Costume Contest Times: Under 24 months 3:00, 2-4 years 3:10, 5-7 years 3:20, 8-10 years 3:30, and 11 years & up 3:40. Concessions will be available for purchase. Join them for fun and prizes. Kiernan Park is located at 500 N. Locust Street, in Genoa.
TERROR in The Top Shelf Grille & Bar goes on Saturday evening at the Timber Creek Best Western in Sandwich. Join in their Halloween Celebratin from 8:30 – 11:30pm. There will be live music by the Winds of Change and a Costume Contest with prizes! Timber Creek is located at 3300 Drew Ave. in Sandwich. Check out the Nightmare on Third Street Saturday evening at O’Leary’s Restaurant and Pub, 260 E. Lincoln Hwy. in DeKalb. Starting at 9pm they will be having a Halloween party at it’s best! Live music and $500 in cash prizes for your great costumes! Visit O’Leary’s website to learn more.
