Saturday evening, January 28th, is the Midwest Museum of Natural History’s biggest event of the year. Their winter fundraiser is unlike any other, featuring displays and demonstrations by natural history experts, live music, dancers, refreshments, and an open bar. The silent auction will feature items from over 70 different donors. This year’s exhibitors feature paleontologist Scott Williams from Burpee Museum, primatologist Leila Porter from Northern Illinois University, tarantula experts, a coffee specialist, and more.
The Groundhog Gala event runs from 6pm to 9pm and will be held at The Midwest Museum of Natural History, 425 West State Street in Sycamore. Tickets are $30 for one or $50 for two (ages 21+). Call or stop by the museum to purchase your tickets. To purchase tickets call 815-895-9777. Visit the Museum’s website for more information.
