Clinically: Todd’s approach to physical therapy includes using proven, evidence-based treatment techniques along with modern practices. Evaluations include full functional assessments to determine the root cause of dysfunction in the body, including areas associated with where symptoms present. Treatment includes direct, hands-on techniques to any area of impairment. Through kinesthetic training and neuromuscular facilitation techniques, he also focuses on improving efficient movement and function throughout the body as a whole. Focusing treatments on restoring automatic and efficient function leads to more permanent change and realistic function without having to “hold the belly in” or “pull the shoulders back.” He also tailors home exercises to each individual to reinstate proper motor control and strategies for any activity. Todd treats all diagnoses and areas of the body including spinal dysfunction, headache, TMJ, visceral dysfunction, and chronic pain.
Socially: Born and raised in Sycamore, Todd enjoys serving DeKalb County. He lives in Sycamore with his wife, Shannon, and children, Hunter and Isabelle. In addition to spending time with friends and family, Todd enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, fishing, water sports, and snowmobiling. He is also a musician, playing primarily piano the majority of his life.
