Tickets for Gaelic Storm Live at the Egyptian Theater just may be the perfect Valentine’s gift for your loved one. The Celtic/World music iconic band Gaelic Storm has been celebrating success in 2013 with its limited new release The Boathouse, which spent two straight weeks at #1 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, making it their 5th release in a row to chart at #1! The Boathouse is a seafaring album of traditional songs of the ocean, recorded in one whiskey fueled week in a converted boathouse on The Chesapeake Bay. Their concert will feature new songs from this album, as well as fan favorites from Chicken Boxer, Cabbage and What’s the Rumpus?
From their website: The group’s ability to deftly incorporate a rock sensibility into their sound affords them rare crossover appeal. In recent years, they’ve performed on the same bill with acts ranging from Zac Brown Band and the Goo Goo Dolls to Emmylou Harris and Lyle Lovett, at events as varied as the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Milwaukee’s Summerfest.
