Come see the unique vehicles at this week’s Sandwich Lions Club Car Show going on from 5:00 to 8:00pm this Friday, August 19th. Cruise historic downtown Sandwich at the Veteran’s Park Railroad Street. Music will be provided by Carousel Sound Company and there will be awards given out and raffles to get in on. Enjoy the anticipated 100 or more entries on display!
Then afterward, the Sandwich Park District will be hosting a Friday Family Movie in the Park on Friday, at 8:00pm. The movie this month is The Good Dinosaur, rated PG. The family movie is shown on a GIANT inflatable movie screen in Knight’s Park, at the corner of N. Latham St. & E. Arnold St. Admission is free. Bring a picnic, lawn chairs and blankets. Movie will begin at dusk, but come early for pre-movie activities.
