First-year students are now able to enroll in one of the four Themed Learning Communities being offered in Spring 2015 by the Office of Student Engagement & Experiential Learning.
Students can now enroll in the following TLCs for Spring 2015:
- Artists as Agents for Change
- Business & Society
- Making a Difference: Service in Society
- Superheroes Aren’t the Only Ones with Secret Identities!
Students can enroll in a Themed Learning Community via the traditional enrollment process, which entails selecting the TLC of choice in consultation with an academic adviser, provided space is available. Students do not need to have been in a Fall 2014 TLC to enroll in a Spring 2015 TLC.
All freshmen are welcome to enroll.
Themed Learning Communities consist of two or three courses taken in conjunction to examine a common theme across disciplines such as the humanities, natural sciences and social sciences.
