The City of DeKalb and the Housing Authority of the County of DeKalb will hold a Public Meeting on Friday, December 27, 2019, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 200 South Fourth Street, Second Floor, in DeKalb, IL to share the results of the recent Fair Housing Survey and accept public comment.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requires all recipients of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding and all Housing Authorities to complete an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing. Results from the survey will be used to help guide the City and the Housing Authority to conduct an analysis of current issues and to formulate actions to address the barriers that are identified. Resident are encouraged to attend the meeting and participate in the planning process to address the identified concerns.
