Feed’em Soup Voted New Toyota

Earlier this year Feed’em Soup was named a finalist by Toyota in the 100 Cars for good program and this past Sunday the group competed against 4 other nonprofit organizations across the country. The organization garnering the most votes through a facebook application would be awarded their choice of a Toyota vehicle.

Receiving approximately 47% of the vote, DeKalb’s own Feed’em Soup Community Project was declared the winner and will receive Toyota vehicle to help aid the group in their community meals.

The group intends to use the vehicle to transport food and supplies to and from meals and fundraisers initially with the possibility of a shuttle service to and from meals in the future.

The group would like to thank the community for their support and for voting for the project in the Toyota 100 Cars for Good program.
