Stop by the Sycamore History Museum for Family Fun Days this Thursday, July 18th. This event is a drop in between 11-2 for families to discover, explore, and experience Sycamore history. “Wells, Water and Being Wet” is the title for July’s Family Fun Day.
During this summer program, visitors are invited to start the afternoon with lunch on the Museum lawn and enjoy an informal discussion about drilling wells (like the one that was at the Engh Farm) and issues surrounding soil erosion. Then, try some experiments related to soil erosion and predict what will sink or float in water. Participants will also have the opportunity to cool off during a water balloon fight!
The cost to attend is $5 per family. Additional Family Fun Days are scheduled for July 18 and August 15. Visit Sycamore History Museum’s website to learn more.
