The restaurant industry employs over sixteen million Americans. It’s an industry that isn’t designed to weather devastating financial storms like the COVID-19 pandemic. It relies on the patronage of loyal diners, or we will lose them.
One of the easiest ways for us to save local restaurants is to make it a point to regularly order takeout from those that are still open (and remember, just because you’re picking it up yourself, tipping is still appreciated).
