Arcomusical is teaming up with the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership (DCNP) once again for Transformation Through Rhythm, a community-driven fundraising concert supporting the 2025 Give DeKalb County Bonus Pool. The event is set for Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the DeKalb High School Auditorium. It’s free to attend, and donations will be accepted both online and in person.
This family-friendly concert brings together some of the best local percussion talent, featuring performances by the Harambee Ensemble, the DeKalb High School Percussion Ensemble, the Northern Illinois University Percussion Ensemble, and Arcomusical. All donations collected will go toward supporting over 150 nonprofit organizations working hard to make a difference in DeKalb County.
Event founder Jen Conley describes the concert as a powerful mix of music and community, creating an uplifting experience filled with rhythm, energy, and inspiration.
Arcomusical is a nonprofit organization focused on sharing the joy of the Afro-Brazilian musical bow, the berimbau, through innovative performances and educational outreach. Learn more at www.arcomusical.com.
