Join local historian Steve Bigolin for a new downtown walking tour. This tour will cover Lincoln Highway from Fourth through Seventh Streets. Find out where “Rat Row” was located, what the DeKalb train station has in common with Navy Pier in Chicago, and many other interesting facts and stories from the past.
Reservations are required and space is limited to 12 participants. You do not need to have attended part 1 of this walking tour in July to enjoy part 2. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. The tour will begin in the main lobby of the library. Register at dkpl.org, by emailing us at reference@dkpl.org, by phone at (815) 756-9568 ext. 2150, or in person at the reference desk.
Date: Saturday, October 6, 2018
