Kirkland’s 10th Annual Pickin’ in the Park is this Wednesday, August 10th, 2016 from 6:00pm till 10pm. Held at Franklin Township Park in Kirkland, the very well attended Pickin’ in the Park is organized every year by Kirkland’s mayor, Les Bellah. Bring a chair or a blanket and join them for a great evening of free fun and music in Kirkland!
Get in on the 50/50 Raffles! Denny Rehn and his world famous REHNBO Pork Chop Sandwiches will be available – sandwich, chips and a pop/water for only $5! Cookies will be sold by Renee Mcguan and the Marine Corps Ladies Auxiliary. All proceeds from this year’s event will be given to the Joe Mcguan and Gene Sparrow scholarship fund.
