Dennis Anderson, Democratic Candidate for Illinois‘14th U.S. Congressional District, will hold a public town hall forum from 6:45 to 8:15 PM on Wednesday, June 25 at the Sandwich City Hall, 144 E. Railroad Street. All constituents in Sandwich and neighboring communities are encouraged to attend and bring questions for the candidate (who will be there in person).
The Anderson Campaign is observing the time-honored American tradition of the open political town hall forum as a highly effective way for candidates to directly talk to constituents regardless of party affiliation. The Sandwich Town Hall is scheduled in the evening to meet the needs of working constituents. The campaign will hold town hall meetings throughout the District for the entire the campaign season.
“My hope is that these town halls become an opportunity for both Democratic and Republican voters to come together and find common ground,” states Anderson. “Most of the Republicans I know and have known want the same things as the Democrats I know and have known. What we lack today is a Congress that recognizes that commonality. I believe we can arrive at the best solutions only through dynamic and respectful dialogue, based on facts.”
Upcoming town hall tour stops include McHenry, Elburn, Gurnee, Plainfield, Yorkville, and Huntley. For more information and future town hall dates, contact Jim Rauh at: 224-513-1016 or go to http://www.dennisanderson14.
