Both DeKalb and Somonauk have their first Farmer’s Markets of the year this coming Thursday, June 1st.
The DeKalb Farmers’ Market kicks off the 2017 season this Thursday in downtown DeKalb. The Market will be held in Van Buer Plaza, at the corner of North 2nd and Locust Streets and will be open every Thursday, June through September, from 10 am until 2 pm. The DeKalb Farmers’ Market features over 30 vendors and provides the community with fresh locally grown produce, bread, baked goods, cheese, wine, coffee, flowers, food trucks and more.
Somonauk’s Farmer’s Markets, hosted by Sweet Seeds Organics, will be the first Thursday of each month, June – October from 3-7pm. The market is held on the corner of Depot and DeKalb Streets in downtown Somonauk. Watch the events at facebook.com/sweetseedsorganics for more information about this market.
