Camelot Care Centers strives to serve youth in foster care in hopes of reunification back to family or to find them their “forever homes” through guardianship or facilitating adoption. Their comprehensive service line includes case management, foster parent support and training, in home counseling, therapeutic mentoring and access to tele psychiatry to help create healthy environments of care. Camelot Care Centers have offered a broad range of youth and family services since 1972. All services provided are designed to maintain children at the least restrictive, yet most appropriate level of care and to support youth in care of Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) in foster homes. Camelot can help you become a licensed foster parent and provide support as you open your heart to children in need of a safe, loving home. Informational Booth: Home Energy Savings Program

Save money and energy at home! The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus is partnering with ComEd and Nicor Gas to help residents save money and energy through the Home Energy Savings Program. Representative Tori Woolbright will host an informational booth in the library’s main lobby on this initiative and how to sign up for a free assessment. A free Home Energy Savings Assessment will analyze energy use in your home and identify opportunities to save energy and money. With the assessment, you will receive a custom report and free energy saving products. The assessment may be done in your home by an authorized energy advisor and products may be installed at that time, or they may be mailed for you to install. Income Eligible residents (those who earn less than 80% Area Median Income) may be eligible for a retrofit and/or further assistance program through your local Community Action Agency. Intermediate Perler Bead Designs: Transforming an Image

For those who already enjoy using Perler beads to create fun projects, here’s an opportunity to learn how to turn an image into a fuse bead design! Though the images used must be simplified, there’s nothing basic about how cool the end result will be. We will be using a website called Kandipad to make the designs, and 309 Creative’s supply of beads to turn it into reality. This program is intermediate level and intended for those who already have experience using Perler beads. Space is limited and on a first come, first served basis. Victor Hugo: His Writings and the Works They Inspired

The Fairy Revelry is a once-a-century Fey Festival, where mortals and fey alike gather under the twin moons for a night of celebration, games, and enchantment. However, someone has to spoil the fun and a mischievous Fey Prince has enchanted the festival itself, turning the games into deadly challenges and binding the festival-goers in a time-looped dance. The only way to break his trickster spell is for the party to pass the trials and reclaim the lost Moonlight Crown, the artifact that traditionally ends the festival. Can the party navigate a festival of illusions, tricks, and challenges before they too are caught in the eternal revelry? This program is intended for adults. No registration is required.
