DeKalb Municipal Band To Hold First Concert Of The Season!

The DeKalb Municipal Band holds its first concert of the season this Tuesday, June 14th, at 8:00 p.m., at the Dee Palmer Band Shell, inside Hopkins Park. Featured performance will be given by: Maureen Christine, Soprano. Additional features that evening will include the Palmer Music Scholarship and Flag Day Celebration.

Recognized throughout the country as one of the Midwest’s most historic musical organizations, the DeKalb Municipal Band will hold the 2016 concert season at the Hopkins Park Band Shell, 1403 Sycamore Road, DeKalb. Performances include soloists each week and a special “Pops Concert” and fireworks show on the Fourth of July as well as other special featured events.
