The DeKalb County Health Department announced Friday the number of positive COVID-19 cases increased to 3,915.
Among those who’ve tested positive for the coronavirus, 660 are younger than 19, 1,016 are in their 20s, 553 are in their 30s, 568 are in their 40s, 511 are in their 50s, 299 are in their 60s, 171 are in their 70s and 137 are 80 or older.
As of Friday, 44 people have died from the coronavirus in the county, according to the DCHD.
At DeKalb County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 2600 N. Annie Glidden Road., 17 staff members and one resident have tested positive for COVID-19.
At Oak Crest-DeKalb Area Retirement Center, 2944 Greenwood Acres Drive, 15 staff members and eight residents are COVID-19 positive. As of Friday, one Oak Crest resident has died from COVID-19.
At Prarie Crossing Living & Rehabilitation Center, 409 W. Comanche Ave., three staff members and one resident have tested positive for COVID-19.
At Bethany Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, 3298 Resource Parkway, 10 staff members and one resident have tested positive for COVID-19.
At Pine Acres Rehabilitation & Living Center, 1212 S. Second St., one staff member and one resident have tested positive for COVID-19.
At Heritage Woods of DeKalb, 2626 N. Annie Glidden Road, three staff members and two residents have tested positive for COVID-19.
Statewide, there are 551,957 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 10,504 recorded deaths as of 5:00 p.m. Friday, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
