The deadline for applying for the annual IVT Mimi Bryan Memorial Scholarship has been extended until July 15th.
Indian Valley Theatre of Sandwich CONGRATULATES all the graduates in the Class of 2021! IVT is very pleased to offer the annual IVT Mimi Bryan Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $250 to an area student(s) again this year. Due to the present and still somewhat challenging situations for High School Seniors, the Application deadline has been extended until July 15, 2021. The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating, college bound senior from high schools in Sandwich and/or surrounding communities and will be awarded in late summer.
Mimi Bryan was one of Indian Valley Theatre’s passionate founding members. Mimi was active on stage, as well as, behind the scenes. Most importantly, she was instrumental in giving many budding actors a shot on stage and bringing Community Theater to life for hundreds of people in the Fox Valley area to enjoy.
A scholarship application is available on IVT’s new website at http://indianvalleytheatre.com, where there is also more information about Mimi Bryan. It may also be obtained through the applicant’s local High School Guidance Counselor or by contacting Sharon Pagoria @ press@indianvalleytheatre.com.
Special consideration will be given to applicants who have participated in the fine arts area, especially IVT productions, and may be interested in receiving further education in that field. However, a fine or performance arts major or minor and/or participation in IVT or Theatre activities is NOT required to qualify for the scholarship.
A Scholarship Review Committee of the Indian Valley Theatre Board of Directors will consider all complete applications submitted.
