The 2017 Leaf Pick Up Program in Sycamore will end next Wednesday, November 22, 2017. The City cannot guarantee that all leaves placed on the parkway near the end of the program will be picked up. For this reason, they ask for your cooperation in raking early and encourage the use of Waste Management’s services.
The City of DeKalb announces the final week for Waste Management curbside collection
of yard waste on your normal collection day through December 1 only. Landscape dumpster sites will remain in place until Monday, December 4 at the following locations:
- Fire Station #2 – 1154 So. 7th Street
- City Garden Plots, west of Fire Station #3, 950 W. Dresser Rd.
- The southeast corner of North 7th and Oak Streets
Landscape waste sites are for residents only, no professional landscape
contractors. Yard waste collections will resume in April.

Can you still put out in containers for garbage pickup after that date? Leaves all came down late. Today and tomorrow very windy and rain too. Thanks.
