For the first time, there will be food available at the event this year. Tinez Tacos, Gallegos Snow Cones and Chamoy Apples will be preparing a Taste of Mexico for everyone. A 50/50 raffle is being held with a cash grand prize, as well as other prizes donated by community businesses and restaurants. The cost per ticket is $2, please email conex637@yahoo.com for raffle tickets.
There will also be a variety of vendors and non-profits at the event. For example, the DeKalb Public Library will be there hosting a free raffle of books every hour. Games will be scattered throughout the plaza and a moon bounce will culminate the fun for the kids. Rayitos will be dancing and entertaining everyone. Click here for more information.
