ComEd intends to perform vegetation management activities on a distribution circuit in DeKalb, during the time period of February through March. The vegetation management activities are a key component of ComEd’s maintenance program to ensure system electrical reliability, as vegetation contact with ComEd equipment is a leading cause of outages.
Qualified line-clearance workers contracted by ComEd will be performing the tree pruning work. Please direct any questions or concerns to ComEd at 1 (800) Edison-1.

I think we are still recovering from the “vegetation management” on the nature trail off of 1st. I can’t see the details on this tiny map, but I hope it doesn’t go through sensitive areas.
