Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) has informed the City of Dekalb that the railroad crossings north of Lincoln Highway at Sixth, Seventh, and Tenth Streets may close as early as Friday, October 5, to accommodate scheduled track maintenance.
These closures may remain in place until October 12. Dates are tentative and subject to change at the discretion of UPRR and weather. Detours will be in place. Motorists are asked to proceed with caution.

Boo why do they have to do them all at once?

The crews are here and in town. Much faster and costs less in the end for Union Pacific. Frankly, I’m glad to see Union Pacific keeping up on the maintenance of these crossings.
