Christensen Joins Reiners and Mortensen at Resource Bank

Last month, Resource Bank, N.A. welcomed Jessica Christensen to its team of expert Client Advisors. She joins Cheryl Reiners, another new Client Advisor, at the Bethany Road Branch in DeKalb, and Steve Mortensen, a Commercial and Agricultural Advisor at the Hampshire Branch.

Jessica Christensen brings over eight years of experience in banking to Resource Bank, N.A. She is a graduate of Stockton University in New Jersey, having grown up in Galloway, NJ. Jessica says of her new position, “I’m really looking forward to being a part of the emotional connection that Resource Bank brings to its customers and community. I can’t wait to let everyone know just how great Resource Bank is.”

Cheryl Reiners

Cheryl Reiners grew up in DeKalb and returned after attending Robert Morris College. She has been in the banking industry for over twenty-five years. Cheryl said of her role, “I pride myself on building strong, long-lasting relationships with every client that I meet. I try to use my personality, patience, and understanding as my foundation for ensuring that all of my clients have a wonderful experience. I am thrilled to have joined the team at Resource Bank.”

Steve Mortensen brought almost thirty years of experience in finance to Resource Bank, N.A., most recently from the American Heartland Bank and Trust in Sugar Grove. Steve has a strong foundation in finance banking, including a BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, as well as being a graduate of the Illinois Bankers Association Consumer Lending School, the Illinois Bankers Association Commercial Lending School, the Illinois Bankers School of Management, and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI.

Steve commented, “In the time that I have been with Resource Bank, I have developed an appreciation for the communication and the team concept to everything we do. From day one I have felt welcomed at Resource Bank, and it truly has that feeling of being part of one large family. I have developed many relationships with clients over the years and have been able to see many of them become very successful. I look forward to bringing them to another level with Resource.”
