Children’s Community Theatre Receives Fund Grant from DeKalb County Community Foundation

Children’s Community Theatre receives a $6,000 Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grant from the DeKalb County Community Foundation for its Summer Theatre Camp Program.

Children’s Community Theatre (CCT) would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the DeKalb County Community Foundation (Community Foundation) and the Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Board of Advisors for awarding CCT the Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grant of $6,000. The Community Foundation’s generous grant has made it possible for CCT to offer two theatre camp opportunities this summer – “CCT’s Royal Theatre Camp” and “CCT’s Advanced Theatre Camp: Pippin”. These camps will provide the children of DeKalb County plenty of opportunities to sing, dance, perform, laugh, and enjoy time with friends!

Registration is open for CCT’s 2023 Summer Theatre Camps, which will take place at The Egyptian Theatre in DeKalb July 10th through July 21st.

CCT’s Advanced Camp: Pippin, will be for campers entering 8th grade in the fall of 2023 to campers who graduated high school in 2023. CCT’s Advanced Camp: Pippin will conclude with three performances of the full length musical Pippin on Saturday, July 22nd at 3pm and 7:30pm and on Sunday, July 23rd at 2pm. Tickets to the performances can be purchased at the theater or at https://www.egyptiantheatre.org.

CCT’s Royal Theatre Camp, will be for campers entering 1st grade to 7th grade in the fall of 2023. CCT’s Royal Theatre Camp will conclude with two performances on Friday, July 21st at 7pm and and on Saturday, July 22nd at 11am.

The cost of both camps is $200 per camper plus a $15 Family Membership Fee.
