Join the Sycamore History Museum for the last Family Fun Day of the year. This Saturday, October 19th, 2013 from 1:00 – 3:00 visitors to the museum will make old-fashion apple cider, fall crafts and old-fashion games. This is the fourth year the Sycamore History Museum has made apple cider, and it is always a big hit. Junior docents will also be around to lead tours of the exhibit and of the gardens.
The current exhibit is called ‘Play: Stories, Momentos and Fun’. An exhibition exploring life’s leisure moments and how we remember them through stories, objects and experiences. As visitors experience this exhibit, they are introduced to a collection of objects on display and the stories they tell about Sycamore and its community of people. The event is only $5 per family. The Sycamore History Museum is located at 1730 N. Main St. in Sycamore. Visit their website to learn more.
