Celebrate Fall with the Sycamore History Museum

When you think of fall apples often come to mind. This Saturday, October 14 make those thoughts part of a fun family activity. The Sycamore History Museum is hosting their annual fall festival!

Starting at 1:00 visitors will have the chance to step back into the past and make apple cider. Bill Mitchell will show and invite visitors to make apple cider. They will clean the apples, grind and press the apples – using an old apple press. “This is a great family activity, and then you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor with the freshest apple cider around!” explained Executive Director, Michelle Donahoe.

Bill Mitchell will lead the apple cider activity as part of the Sycamore History Museum’s Fall Festival on October 14.
