In Colorado that would be known as a small business. Illinois is broke and foolish. Get a clue
Legalize it. Tax it. Lower my damn property taxes.
Dave Gong and I have the same tattoo…..small world.
Perhaps government shouldn’t suppress culture and focus on Hard core drugs that actually ruin lives.

God gave it, man takes it away.
Dekalb actually has a long standing relationship with herb. The phototron, one of the first commercial growing systems for sale to the public was invented here. Back in the late seventies, early eighties, there were more than a few prototypes being tested around town. If we (the collective city political scene) were smart, we would push for decriminalized possession, and start paving the way for both industrial hemp, and medicinal growing and distribution. There are literally 1000s of square feet of empty warehouses that geographically qualify to become cultivation centers, and 1000s of acres of the best farmland in the country right here in Illinois. Just saying. ..
Seems like a waste of 10#’s of good bud…not that I would condone or participate in any such behaviors….
Seema like a waste of PD dollars.
If there’s demand there will be supply. Just a few months ago they busted a meth lab. And I’m sure there’s a ton more.
I still can’t wrap my head around how in one state it’s a class X felony, and in another it’s recreational yet controlled and has the added benefit of adding millions of dollars of tax revenue.
Haaaa yea right Derrick Dailey. Aint it the truth!!!!!
Legalize it already!
Drugs are bad. Mmmmkay
Maybe they are just trying to make enough money to pay their property taxes.
I just returned from a family vacation in Colorado, the cities were not burning down in flames, and crazed criminal pot heads were not running rampant through the streets wreaking havoc. In fact, it was quite the opposite, I have never seen cleaner towns and cities, they appear to be doing quite well it seems. Just sayin Illinois…

I live in CO, and since the legalization the state has made Millions which goes into our schools, crime is down significantly and people are way more chill, bars are not as packed anymore either. Also our economy as a state is becoming stronger, lots of people moving here!! Real estate prices are up! 🙂
