On June 6, 2015, golfers will come together at the Sycamore Golf Club to support a local organization for youth—Adventure Works. This is the second year that members of the 3M Community Support Group will host a Charity Golf Event. The winning team will receive $500 and all proceeds will benefit Adventure Works mission: to assist youth in overcoming challenges and becoming healthy adults through adventure-based counseling.
The 3M Community Support Group consists of volunteer 3M employees who have formed a non-profit committee to raise money or provide assistance for many needy and worthwhile projects in our community. Last year, the group raised and donated over $10,000 to various projects and charities.
The charity golf event is scheduled for Saturday, June 6th, 2015 at the Sycamore Golf Club. Events include: 18 holes of golf, contest holes, lunch provided by Taxco, and 3M merchandise gift bags for participants.
Local businesses can get involved by sponsoring a hole on the course, field a team for the day, or both! Sponsorships start at just $100 for a par hole and go up to $500. The cost is $65 per person / $260 per foursome. Tee times will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
