Playlists are the perfect way to collect and listen to your favorite music – any song by any artist – whenever the urge hits. Give your music the flow of a great deejay set, create the soundtrack to your next dinner party, or team up with friends to edit playlists together.
Playlists are a breeze to build with the Sonos app. Just remember Search, Queue and Save. In exactly that order.
Building a Sonos Playlist
1. Start with Search. Type any song title into your Search window. Your Sonos app quickly runs a Universal Search, browsing through all your music services and digital downloads to track down your request.
2. Create a Queue. Found the song? Now tap the three dots (***) to the right of the song title. Then select Add to End of Queue.
3. Edit the Flow. Once you’ve added all the songs you want, tap the three-line menu icon in the lower right corner to visit your Queue. Then touch Edit to drag and drop your songs into whatever order feels right. Tap Done once you’re good to go. (You can always come back to add and delete songs, or rearrange the flow at any time.)
4. Save Your New Playlist. Save and name your Queue as a Playlist – from now on it will automatically appear under Sonos Playlists in your app Menu, where you can pull it up to enjoy, edit and share any time you want.
