These are the productions for which they will be auditioning:
The Summer Musical (8 Performances: May 30 – June 9)
The time period is 1999 in a hotel on a small Greek island. A young woman raised by a single mother invites three potential fathers to her wedding. The musical style is 1970s Europop!
The Mousetrap (7 Peformances: June 27 – July 7, 2019)
A group of strangers is stranded in a boarding house during a snow storm, one of whom is a murderer. Another superb intrigue for the foremost mystery writer of her time, Agatha Christie.
Noises Off (7 Performances: August 1-11, 2019)
Called “the funniest farce ever written,” Noises Off presents a manic menagerie of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing’s On. Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play.
August: Osage County (7 Performances: September 5-15, 2019)
When the large Weston family unexpectedly reunites after Dad disappears, their Oklahoman family homestead explodes in a maelstrom of repressed truths and unsettling secrets. Mix in Violet, the drugged-up, scathingly acidic matriarch, and you’ve got a major play that unflinchingly—and uproariously—exposes the dark side of the Midwestern American family.
Little Shop of Horrors: The Musical (8 Performances: October 10-20, 2019)
A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.
