As of July 1, the DeKalb County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications for the fall Community Needs Grants and Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants. Nonprofits and charitable organizations are encouraged to apply before midnight on September 1. Applications must be submitted online through the Foundation’s website, dekalbccf.org/grantprograms.
Community Needs Grants support the charitable needs and efforts of nonprofit and community organizations throughout DeKalb County. Applicants with requests for $25,000 or more must contact Grants & Community Initiatives Manager Becky Zantout at becky@dekalbccf.org by August 1 to discuss the proposed project. Applicants with requests under $25,000 are encouraged but not required to contact Foundation staff in advance. All Community Needs grant applications are due September 1.
Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants provide financial assistance to further music education, music appreciation, and performance in DeKalb County and the Chicago metropolitan area. Funding requests of $10,000 or more must contact Wurlitzer Foundation Board Chair George Buck, george@dekalbccf.org, by August 1 for consideration. Deadline for all grant applications is September 1.
