
According to the initial alert and media reports, Liam was in a running minivan while his father went inside the 7-Eleven to get food. Someone stole the minivan and drove away with Liam in the back seat.
After the alert, someone spotted the 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette near Marquette Park on Chicago’s Southwest Side.
The vehicle was later found at Pulaski Road and Belle Plaine Avenue, with Liam was inside. He was taken to Swedish Hospital in Chicago for routine physical evaluation after being found, police said.
As of 8 a.m. today (Tuesday, Nov. 17), a suspect has not been located.
This was the second AMBER alert broadcast to Kane County in the past two days. On Sunday, a 2-month-old child was abducted from a home in McNabb and later was found and returned home safely.
