The Kishwaukee College Center for Business Development and Continuing Education and the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC) are partnering to offer a Breakfast Briefing on the 80/20 Business Improvement Process for area business and industry on Tuesday, June 14, from 7:45 – 9:30a.m. at the Kishwaukee College Conference Center. The Breakfast Briefing on the 80/20 Business Improvement Process will begin with breakfast and networking from 7:45 – 8:15a.m. followed by the presentation from 8:15 – 9:30a.m. The presenter is Steve Schiera. He will discuss how the 80/20 Business Improvement Process helps companies build high level, relevant relationships that result in revenue and impact. There will be opportunities for discussion during the Breakfast Briefing.
Steve Schiera has over 25 years of operations and executive management experience. He has worked in the defense, telecommunications, medical, plastics, and metal fabrication industries. Steve has held leadership positions in operations, quality, safety, supply chain, maintenance and engineering. Steve’s background includes several operational turnarounds and business startups. Immediately prior to joining IMEC, Steve was Vice President of Operations for a leading mid-west metal fabrication company. Steve holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a certificate from the University of Chicago School of Business in Finance for Executives.
