The hits keep coming at the Egyptian Theatre this fall

The Egyptian Theatre in Downtown DeKalb has announced five more shows for its 2018 Fall Season. With nine shows already announced, the Egyptian is ramping up for its biggest Fall Season yet!

On September 29, the Egyptian will host Sandi Patty. Winner of forty Dove Awards, five Grammys, four Billboard Music Awards, three platinum records and five gold records, Sandi Patty is one of the most celebrated Christian artists of our time. Joined by Christ Community Church’s Worship Group, Sandi brings her Farewell Tour to the Egyptian early this fall.

Then on October 27, the Egyptian will welcome The Midtown Men which reunites the four original cast members of the Broadway smash hit, Jersey Boys. The Midtown Men celebrates the wonderful music of the sixties and is performed by Tony Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony Award nominee J. Robert Spencer. Don’t miss this electrifying and soulful new production with its top-shelf choreography, incredible vocal performances, and legendary on-stage chemistry.

On November 3, international sensation The Ten Tenors will take the stage. Straight from Australia, The Ten Tenors are known for their breathtaking vocals as well as performing to sold out shows across the globe. This is one vocal performance you are not going to want to miss!

And on November 10, the Egyptian is excited to welcome The Chicago Authority. The Chicago Authority pays tribute to the legacy of the iconic band Chicago with an amazing show that includes such classics as Make Me Smile, Saturday in the Park, 25 or 6 to 4 and many more. Celebrate a 50-year musical legacy and a new-again Hall of Fame popularity with a band that has been called “the best Chicago tribute band in the world,” The Chicago Authority.

Moving into December, on December 7, Lightwire Theater: A Very Electric Christmas returns to the Egyptian by popular demand! Lightwire Theater is internationally recognized for their electroluminescent artistry, poignant storytelling and performs in complete darkness. Brighten your holidays this season with a show that is fun for all ages!

The line-up for these latest show announcements is: Sandi Patty on Saturday, September 29 at 7 PM; The Midtown Men on Saturday, October 27 at 7:30 PM; The Ten Tenors on Saturday, November 3 at 7:30 PM; The Chicago Authority on Saturday, November 10 at 7:30 PM; and the grand Holiday Event, Lightwire Theater: A Very Electric Christmas on Friday, December 7 at 7:30 PM.
