While one of the favorite 4th of July desserts is the always popular S’mores, this year put some meat into your fun food and then choose the right wine pairing … if you have to stay home, you might as well have some FUN.
While the traditional S’mores are a classic, sometimes you need an adult version with more sophisticated flavors and a perfect wine to match. Adding the ever-popular ‘bacon’ to you S’mores can enhance the dessert experience while washing it down with a nice glass of Zinfandel (another option would be a Zinfandel spritzer-the enhancement of sparking soda and sparkling champagne).
