This Monday, April 15th, the Catholic Daughters of St. Mary Parish in DeKalb will be holding the semi-annual salad bar which benefits the children at St. Mary School and St. Mary church. The salad bar will be located at parish center (cafeteria) in the old school located on N. 4th St. and Fisk. Parking is in the church lot and handicap access is located at 4th and Fisk.
The ladies put on a great salad bar which has become a tradition in the DeKalb area. Homemade meatballs along with ham, baked beans, rolls and many home made salads, salads, salads and even home made desserts will be available as well. Coffee, milk and water are included and no tip is necessary. $8.00 per ticket and tickets can be purchased at the door. Serving will begin at 11:00am and finish at 1:00pm Monday.
St. Mary’s School is also having an open house this Sunday, April 14, 2013, 12:00-1:30pm. Tour the school, meet the teachers, chat with parents and talk to the principal. Families of all Christian faith denominations are invited.
