The 25th Annual Holiday Lights Train by the Waterman & Western Railroad (aka Pete’s Train) will pull out of the station beginning Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 5:00 p.m., and run on weekends (Fri. – Sun.) through December 23rd.
The free train rides go past hundreds of holiday displays with over 300,000 lights. Popcorn and hot chocolate are also provided free. Old fashion fudge and merchandise are available for purchase.
The regular hours for the train rides will be Friday 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., Saturday 4:30 – 9:00 p.m., and Sunday 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. The week before Christmas, they will be open Wednesday – Friday, December 19-23, from 5-9 p.m, with Santa’s hours 6-8 p.m.
Santa will be in his house beginning Friday, November 30. Santa’s hours are Friday 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Professional photography will be available for pictures with Santa.
The Holiday Lights Train is located at Lions Community Park in downtown Waterman, IL, 435 S. Birch Street.
